As a kid on my Raleigh Module 5 with the brake extenders that came out the side of the hoods I tried riding with no hands and braking with my feet, on the brake extenders, I actually managed it the first time........but only the first time. Funniest thing I've seen though was riding home with a mate who, when he saw a coke can in the road, said "watch this" and proceeded to pop the front wheel and bring it down onto the can to crush it, which he did, only for it to clamp around his tire and flip him off when it got to the forks......I laughed so hard

Going down a hill at speed and slamming front brake on, bike flipped and front crank sliced through the rear of my ankle trainer marking my Achilles tendon (Bloody lucky didn't sever it)

Coming home from work one night last week I was looking at the back of my bike as I rode along. When I first looked I was in the middle of the lane, next thing I knew I was riding right on the edge of the pavement with no space to turn the front wheel to move away.
Next thing I'm lying in a wet bush with undergrowth wedged in my brake lever and a chlorophyll stain on my jersey and a cut knee.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

A couple of years ago one Christmas evening. We ran out of tobacco and alcohol so I was despatched to top up on both from a 24-hour garage nearby.
Attemping to bunny-hop off the road onto the pavement / cycle-path (still managing to reasonably follow the rules!) on an icy evening when somewhat inebriated is not the best course of action. Cue bike and rider flat-out on pavement.
Picked myself up, dusted down and completed the short ride back - only to find out that I'd broken the bottles in the fall. It was only the next morning, lookinmg in the mirror, that I realised I'd tried to do the same to my face.

I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles

No, that's sensible. The advice of people on the internet is more valuable than actually test riding a bike yourself.
Well, that's what someone on the internet told me anyway. :?

About 15 year old I gave a girlfriend at the time a backie on my road bike, big mistake! Showing off I took a downhill corner too fast, saved it, then lost it and hit the side of few parked cars before both ending flat out on the road! Ripped my elbow pretty badly along with usual cuts and scrapes. We hobbled to my mates mums house who cleaned us up. We weren't together for long after!

Got up to (my) top speed on Olympic Velodrome.

This speed was not fast enough to catch others so I decided to give up .... pedalling. Only for a moment but it was enough to dislocate my shoulder.
