Keep dura ace 7800?

Dear all,
I have a bike with dura ace 7800 (in v good condition) and another with 105 which is at least 4-5 years old (don't know the exact set). The 105 is becoming worn. I recently bought a brand new bike so am wondering whether I should simply use the 7800 groupset for the poor weather, or instead, sell it and buy a more current 105 set? I would sell the dura ace on eBay but just wondered what people's thoughts are.
Thanks for any advice/thoughts.

7800 was/is an excellent groupset. Probably looks a bit dated now because the gear cables loop out in front rather than running along the handlebar, however makes for very smooth gear changing and easy maintenance. Not sure what you'd get selling but if not much I would run it until it wears out.0

7800 is loads better than the current 105. I'm still running it on my race bike in preference to 6800 ultegra which is on my training bike. If you sell it you'll get nowhere near what it's worth for it's function so I'd use it 'till it dies, which will probably be some time! 7800 was, and is, a fantastic groupset.0

Bear in mind that if you get the new 105, you will probably need to get a new freehub (if not a new rear wheel) to accommodate the 11 speed cassette. Could become quite expensive!0

Thanks all. I'd considered that the 105 could be more expensive when factoring in 11 speed.
Think I'll stick with the DA - sounds ungrateful!0
