Hi all, im in the market for a new cassette, my current cassette is a 8 speed 12-23 tooth.
My question is could i buy a fit as a direct replacement a 8 speed 11-32 tooth or something similar or do i have to buy the same tooth cassette.

You can use any but might need a new mech and will need a new chain.I don't do smileys.

As above Should be fine as long as your rear mech has the capacity. I'm guessing it's a road mech though with that cassette.0

That will work fine with an 11-32, but you will need a new (longer) chain.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
