New MTB for around £500

Hey, I don't know much about bikes, just decided to spend a bit more on a MTB for the first time, hoping to get some good advice here.
I've come across two bikes which I'm considering, just wondering if they are good for the money or if I should spend a bit more and get something else like a VooDoo Bizango.
