Hi people's
I am looking for advice please on upgrading my canyon ultimate cf 2013.
I've seen I can get the 2015 ultimate slx frame for 1200£ and build it up
From my existing group set etc, has anyone got any experience with this
Frame? Would it be much of an upgrade and have the frames become
That much better in 2 years (apart from the 200g weight difference)
? Will be riding recreational and racing.
Many thanks

If the new frame is red and the old one isn't then you will go 2.3mph faster, allegedly.0

Thanks for all advice
Bobbinogs thought there might be quite a difference between the 2013 cf frame and the slx 2015. lighter responsive and more expensive and was reaching out to slx owners so dont be a donger0 -
The 2013 - 2015 CF SLX frame is a completely new design vs the 2013 CF. They're totally different frames.
At £1200 it's exceptional value. An equivalent frame from other brands would be £2000+
But only you will know whether it's worth upgrading.
If £1200 is affordable and you fancy a new, pro level frame, then go for it.
If £1200 feels like a significant outlay and you're hoping that upgrading will make you much faster, then it's probably not worth it.
I've got a 2013 CF and it's an excellent frame, I love it. I also spent a week on a hired 2014 CF SLX and it was great, but it wasn't a significant difference.0
