If it is like new, then yes, it will be a fine bike. I have the 2011 1.1 model which has stood the test of time, and have recently put 10 speed 105 on it which is still a good groupset.
The frame itself is a slightly racier version of the 1 model- 2 years later they became the alloy madones with not too many modifications.

If it fits you well and has been very well looked after then its at least as good as the modern bikes at that price.

I had the 2011 2.3 with triple chainset. Was a very good bike for the money, no complaints about the frame, wheels or groupset. The stock tyres aren't the best in the wet but easily upgraded. As above, if the bike is the right size for you and is in good condition then should be a decent buy.
