I have a Boardman Hybrid Pro and would like some advice or tips on how to replace the pads. I also don't know which disc pads I should buy, I know that they are Shimano Deore Hydraulic Disc Brakes, but pads come in different variations as I've found out to my cost on my old MTB.

Remove pad, go to superstar website and compare to the pictures, buy right one, fit.

Organic, ceramic or kevlar are just different compounds and don't affect fitment.

I just replaced the rear pads on mine.

These ones or equivalent if you're on the 2014 model, otherwise just pull teh old ones out and look at them as posted above, then look on Wiggle to see which ones look the same: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/nuke ... -prod42157

All you need is some pliers to remove the pin then just push the old ones out, push the pistons back in & slot in the new ones replacing the pin at the end. Simples.

Follow the basic instructions about half way down the page here (no need to unscrew anything - the pin just slides out): http://www.parktool.com/blog/repair-hel ... adjustment
