Feeling seriously "meh" today as it appears we've been subsidising the beer industry this weekend.

Friday:- beers.
Saturday:- Charity event+curry+beers.
Sunday:- Rode to Hebden Bridge to watch the TDY fly through and had a few pints then off to a mates in the evening for lots of beers.
Monday:- BBQ+ beers.

    Morning all,
Decidedly meh here too. Distinct lack of staff and excess of stupid questions seems to be the order of the day. Was hoping to skip work early, but no way that's going to happen.

In sunny chester today which has the bonus of the club for a swim on the way in

The downside is my office has got a revolving door of people meaning I'm getting bigger all work done

A few iPhone snaps from the Tour of Yorkshire, taken in Hebden Bridge at the bottom of the climb to Oxenhope.

The lead group who had around four minutes on the peloton.

Not too bad for me today, was up strangely early which was lucky as I had forgotten to set my alarm again after the bank holiday! Also, meant I started work earlier than normal so can finish earlier too, new wheels should have been delivered today, hopefully they'll leave them with a neighbor or I'll have to wait til the weekend to pick them up.

Liverpool Road is definitely grey though the fast moving cloud has allowed some sunshine to pop up at times.

TDY had an impressive amount of roadside support, hope it continues.

I need to go look at yesterdays thread and investigate the need for my lawyer to contact people, probably Pina

Got the bike back from my LBS finally with new lots of things. So will be ready for the Stranraer hill challenge next month, assuming the plan comes together :) Work was unremarkable as expected but ony a day and a half of the stuff left before I head for the hills 8)

Took 1 1/2 hours to do a 3 mile commute today.

    Had a moan at work.

Gave a colleague a lift and spent another 40 mins in traffic.

    Texted a moan.

Did bugger all at work then came home to find all my kit that had dried out nicely on the line now soaking wet due to fukkkking British summer weather.

May have herbal tea and go to bed early.

Tuesday's should be banned. Rain, rain and more rain...

Worst of all, I got wind of news that some legal eagle will be sending me the correspondence for the proceedings.

You have to factor in the travel and logistical costs for a cliff edge location too.
