Looking at potentially getting a GPS device as running Strava on the mobile is becoming less reliable with tracking rides and chunks of a ride just simply not being recorded or tracked.

Garmin Edge looks to be a forerunner but just after any justifications for / against or other recommendations.

Which gps is best for you depends on your individual requirements do you want/need ant+ and or bluetooth, cadence, heart rate, mapping or navigation or just recording etc.etc. Different devices have different options, personally I have both an etrex 30 and an edge 800. For on the bike with mapping and ant+ I would say the 800 or 810 you can decide if the premium you pay for bluetooth for phone connectivity on the 810 is worth it for you.

    Pretty useful link.

Edge 510 should do the job.
