The obvious one is the Magic Mary. Specialized Butcher is also a very good alternative but there are loads of others. The Continental Baron also does the same job.
The Shorty is nothing new.

magic mary & butcher arn't the same, they are not as aggressive while the baron doesn't come in 650b.

Magic Mary and Butcher are both very good as an aggressive wet tyre, just like the Shorty.
If the Shorty isn't available then the next option is to find something similar.
