What lube to put on rockshox revelations stantions?

My old boardman with sectors I used muc off wet lube to clean the seals. Just a small dribble then compress the forks to get the seals cleaned.
What does everyone else use or is this a big no no?

Wet lube is ok, but ideally something like the oil rockshox specify for the fork lowers and foam rings.

I'm currently experimenting with float fluid in my Revelations, and am finding that although it seems to lubricate better, it gathers more dust and dirt than the lighter oil rockshox recommends.

I'm using fork juice now and then in between servicing the lowers.

Fork Juice for me as well. Seems to do a good job.
Apply.Cycle forks to get the crud out of the seals. Wipe clean. Reapply and leave.

    Same here.

OP: if you try Fork Juice (or a similar Teflon-based spray), keep it away from your brakes/discs.

Yeah, after the above recommendations, I had a look for it online, and it appears only to come in an aerosol - I'd much prefer a dropper bottle. :?

Thanks for the help. Fork juice it is then and a plastic bag for my disc and caliper.

I've had no problems with it, just don't spray it directly towards the rotor and you'll be fine. I usually do it with the bike upside down and wheels out so easy enough to hold a hand over the brake calliper.

Aerosol gives good coverage and means you're applying small amounts - enough to do its job, not enough to build up and attract crap.

you can always spray onto a cloth first and then wipe down the stanchions, save any over-spray.

Wet lube or any wet oil can be counter productive. Dirt will mix with the oil to create a nasty paste which will wear stanchion anodising and seals.
Fork Juice leaves a very light, dry film of Teflon lube which doesn't attract dirt. Just a very light spray is all that is needed.

When I used the muc off wet lube I only did it very thinly. Compress forks and wipe. Then do it again until no dirt can be seen then left the bike for a couple of days before riding again.

Are we all saying fork juice is the thing to go for?
