i got a 2011 Scott Addict R2 can put 25mm tires on it .running Shimano Ultegra FC-6700, 53/39t teeth want to change 39t to a 34t any info please don,t want have buy a new crankset for :D

    I'm pretty confident you can't fit a 34T chainring to your crankset which will be 130mm BCD rather than 110. A 38T may be the smallest; hardly worth the effort

    Even if you could you'd have a hideously large jump between 53 and 34; your rear mech might not have sufficient capacity to take up the chain slack and allow you to run big / big

    as above 38T is the smallest on there. could change your cassette though to get some easier gearing?

    otherwise cheapest option would be a sora/tiagra 10 speed chainset or some are selling the new 11 speed 105 for around £60 to £75 (11 speed is fine for chainset)
