Just recommissioned this week after years of sitting in the garage unused while the kids get big enough to come play. Probably a bit retro these days. Being a Raleigh it was probably retro in its day - and snowflake wheels never seemed to catch on

She is quite a few years old now but still running sweetly. Frame was a distress purchase when I trashed my bright blue Ti Dynatech (remember them?)

My folks had a bike shop with a custom 853 frame that was built for a customer who changed his mind. It built up nicely with my bits. Have to say the Raleigh Special Products stuff was lovely - nicest frame I have ever ridden

Needs a flatter stem at the front and maybe a lighter seat and post. Oh and maybe some new forks. A respray would be nice too so its back to bright signal red . . .

Frame: Custom Raleigh Special Products 853 in Signal Red
Forks: RockShox Judy
Bars: Xlite Cross Country
Stem: temporary RSP thing (my Ti one is bright blue)
Headset / Brakes / Shifters / Mechs: XT
Seat: Fizik Nisene
Seat Post: no idea (my Xlite doesnt fit, need nice shiny one)
Cranks, BB, rings and cassette: XT
Pedals: XT (I think)
Wheels F: Hope hub iridescent Mavic 217 SUP rim and Snowflake spokes
Wheel R: XT hub iridescent Mavic 217 SUP
Tyres: Continental Traction Pro
Weight: c25lb (mostly in the forks!)

I do like those wheels. Probably not too strong but very cool!

    I like that. A lot. 8)

I had a white DynaTech Diablo DX Plus. It was a great bike. I should never have sold it. :(

I do like this, it brings me back to the bike that started it off for me the RSP bright blue cromo-ti frame (sure it was more of a greener color than google has me believing). And had it with some Michelin think wildgrippers in orange? Was 15 at the time.

Remember always wanting suspension on it and the LBS always saying the only forks that would fit would be some pace forks.

Loved the bike in so many ways, moved out of home forgot about the bike, parents moved I asked where it was to my horror it went to the skip.

Maybe I need a retro bike for commuting of what I had with all the upgrades I dreamed off, pace carbon forks magura hydrolic Vees.....hmmmmm maybe

Pretty sure it was the M-Traxx duo tech m300
