Have ordered a bike online and it comes with a dropper seat post as standard.

Never had much experience with these seat posts; usually the saddle/post isn't fitted on a new bike. Is there any extra work required? Not sure if theres any hydraulic cables that will need feeding through the frame etc

If it comes with it, it will normally be fully fitted, which brand/model?

If you have to fit it it depends on the make/model which are......?

I expect it will be fitted as if the cable routing is similar to the Trance then it needs the BB removing

Yes, looking at the photo of it the cable is routed inside the frame down to the BB and up through the seat tube.

Hoping its just a case of fitting the seat!

Thanks all. Bike arrived today. It was pretty much fully assembled. Just had to sort bars out and fit pedals.

Cant wait to get out on it! will have to wait until I can ride it home from work Friday. We're out Saturday on a 45 miler on the Shipwrights Way so will give it a proper run then.

Thanks for the tips Oxoman. Glad to see another SX owner. Went for that model as I fancied the 120mm forks. Been looking at the Anthems for a few years now!
