The one which fits your head. Guarantee it won't be the same as the one which suits me. You gotta go to decent bike shops and try them on to find out. Sorry!

It's almost completely pointless to suggest a given helmet on the basis that you find it comfortable. It's entirely down to how helmet X matches the shape of Y's head. If Y finds it comfy it tells you nothing about what Z will think. Some helmets have different pads, straps or retention systems and they can make a difference but only if the helmet fits you well to begin with.
Best you can do is recommend some popular one's to try and some of their pros and cons but most will be irrelevant because they don;t fit well. e.g.:
Kask = Good straps and nicely made, various fits.
Lazer = Good size adjuster, clip-on aero shell for some models and and well made
Giro & Bell = easily available, wide fit, some good light choices
etc....0 -
Indeed, the OP asked for a recommendation and I gave it based on MY experience! Apparently, the Catlike whisper is fantastic, doesnt say why though, maybe it fits the poster and is light etc etc0

As other have said
"The one that fits best".
However having had great difficulty finding one that fitted, i found that the Lazer helmets method of securing/adjusting tightness - makes it fit a wide variety of head shapes as the tightening is "all around" rather than just the rear. I would highly recommend to the point that i would not consider any other brand as the fit is so great.
By default (with the usual rear tightening) helmets fit tends to suit either round or oval head shapes.
For example Kask are not great for me (too round). I found that the Lazer system lessens this significantly.
I would strongly suggest you try a Lazer, especially if you can get one from a freepost returns supplier.
sigma sport have the 'blade' model. newsletter signup get 10% off. free returns.

I got one of these and was very, very pleasantly surprised - light, well made, very comfy, all the straps/buckles etc are well made and considering my job a brilliant touch of irony in the Italian colours.
