Bouet doesn't even ride for Ag2r any more! Jaysus.

This isn't very exciting at all.

Henao and Nordhaug still there for Sky. Kreuziger, Rui Costa, Bardet, Valverde, Purito... Nibali made it back in too.

Under the kite, Moreno setting the pace... and getting a gap! This a big gap!

Valverde finally chases, Purito after him.

All back together on the corner

What a turd of a race. Katusha had it set up perfectly but JRod failed to do anything when Moreno got dragged back. Hats off to Valverde though, everyone watching him and he won easily.

    Valverde judged that to perfection.
    Fair play.

I know he's not popular on here, but he's a proper racer. Season long, single days, GTs. And he wins races. Fair play.
It's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.

Hahaha! My man Valverde does not disappoint. Went for it at 500m, JRod pulled them back. Sprinted and took the win. What a champion. He should have had Amstel as well. What a racer.

My man from day Alaphillipe in 2nd. Big career this guy is going to have. Unreal to be half a metre from the win on a 250km hard fought race.

    My man JRod in third.

Gilbert - solid from him given he had a bad crash on Wednesday and couldn't push more than 500 watts yesterday.

Great work from Kreuziger. Talent. Bardet very good and super to see Henao flying this year.

So they all sit waiting for Valverde to chase, he does, and none of them can take advantage and counter once he pulled in Moreno.

Yeah, what a monster. Makes you wonder what a cyclist he would have been had he been properly focused on riding for himself over these years.
