Pedal on Parliament (Scotland) - tomorrow!

For those in Scotland, there's a "Pedal on Parliament" in Edinburgh taking place tomorrow, and also a smaller Aberdeen ride at the same time. The "What we Want" is:

• Proper funding for cycling (5% of the transport budget & 10% for active travel overall).
• Design cycling into Scotland’s roads.
• Slower speeds where people live, work and play
• Integrate cycling into local transport strategies
• Improved road traffic law and enforcement
• Reduce the risk of HGVs to cyclists and pedestrians
• A strategic and joined-up programme of road user training
• Improved statistics supporting decision-making and policy

Both rides start at 12 noon (details in links below). I'm hoping to be at the Aberdeen one!

Well I was at the Aberdeen one - not a bad turnout really - must have been 70+ here... nothing like the several thousand in Edinburgh of course!
