What do yo think as a bike that can be raced in cross events and also toured? Does anyone know the weight?

What's the mud clearance like with a 32mm tyre?
Could be that it's just another one of the "CX bike branded as something new" bikes, in which case it'll be fine. CX bikes with mudguard and rack mounts are nothing new, but Evans in particular seem to like inventing new genres for them to fit into. I'm only partly clear on the difference betwen a CX bike, an "adventure road" bike and a "gravel" bike, but all my CX bikes seem to work fairly well on gravel, and also seem to be quite good for having adventures. The CX bike I use for commuting would also be perfectly good for touring with panniers, if I was into that sort of thing (but I could also take all the gubbins off and race it...)Pannier, 120rpm.0 -
Had a google. Suggestion that someone was running it with MSO 40mm. So should be ok on that basis. Picture on Trek's site makes it look much nicer. Good brakes.
Get some new QR skewers of course. My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)
