...is it a sign of OCD? Just given mine a good waxing and buffing with G3 formula, bodyshop detailer. I understand it's a personal subject, and not something that you would bring up at work, but is it detrimental to polish your helmet, and does buffing it up faster give a better a result?

Definitely makes you more aero the more you polish it, more slip less drag...One plays football, tennis or golf, one does not play at cycling0
