Spec advice please

Hi there,

i am looking at the two below. It would be good if you can let me know what spec is best as the price is almost neutral for me.

From a novice point of view the Cube has the better Pike fork, other than that i am unsure on the rest of the spec as a comparison.

I have tested the Lap 527 and liked it but this out of my budget but loved the Ei. I am unable to test the Cube but i could just purchase it if the spec is better than the lapierre.
Please advice as i am stuck between the 2. To make it worse i have a Orange Pro 5 to demo at the weekend but i think this will be too heavy for me on the climbs, i like to get the hammer down.

Anyway any advice welcome, i seem to be in limbo with this
