Trek Domane owners - check your seat tube for cracks

Recently spotted a crack in my Trek Domane 4 seat tube, which resulted in not one, but two frame swaps under Trek's frame warranty; the crack immediately recurred with the new frame and eventually the underlying cause was identified as an undersized original seat post (made by Bontrager). The seat post has now been replaced as well and so far the fault has not recurred with the second replacement frame.

The reason why I'm re-posting here is at least one other forum member has had exactly the same thing happen and I'm beginning to wonder if this may be a more widespread problem which could potentially be a safety issue.
So if you have a Trek Domane with a carbon frame, check the slot in the seat tube for cracks around the seat post clamp. If you find a crack, talk to your Trek dealer and push for both a frame and seat post replacement.
Hoping that I might save other the hassle and pain of being without a bike through two separate frame replacements, not to mention the safety implications for fellow Domane owners.
best regards,
Andrew
P.S. I've been really impressed with Trek's service, reasonability and approach. Although it's always disappointing to find a crack in the frame of your pride and joy, I'm now more likely to buy a Trek in future, because it seems they do stand behind their lifetime frame warranty.
