Just about to hit the button on the 6800 groupset with Ribble (£475 - band on fd extra £5!) - anyone aware of a better deal at the moment?

Cheers

£499 but if you are a British cycling member you get 10% off so £450. If you are not join and it is almost cost neutral so you have the added benefit of being a member of BC for free.

Life is like riding a bicycle: you don't fall off unless you stop pedaling.

  • CRC only offer a braze on FD an I need a band on but I am a member of BC so that's worth checking out. I think converters are available?

My first bike came with a braze on FD mounted on a band on adapter. Looks very neat; didn't realise till I stripped it down to transfer the groupset to a frame with a braze on mount. I'd already bought a new braze on FD!

Theres a glitch on Ribble. If you change the currency to €uro (at the top right of the page) the price is listed as €610 which equates to £439 at todays exchange rates, pay with paypal and you'll get the current exchange rate and location wont make any difference. They obviously havent updated their exchange rates or something.
