Someone at work bought some bottle supposedly carbon fibre bottle cages 'cheap' from China through ebay and they were rubbish, moulded plastic.0

Thats just means your friend didnt read the discription properly
and afaik you cant wear carbon bottle cages as an item of clothing. 0 -

No it means the items were not as described. But if you buy knock-off fakes via ebay from China it would be a pleasant surprise if they were good quality or made from the advertised material. Can't wear bottle cages but same story.
