1" Threaded needle/roller bearings
I've gone and lost one of the cages and bearing surfaces from my 1" threaded headset. Goodness knows how!
Problem is finding replacement bearings. Getting hold of an entire 1" threaded, roller-bearing headset isn't hard at all but getting hold of just the bearings is a nightmare.
Does anyone have any ideas? Do I just have to accept it and buy a whole new headset?

Have a look at http://www.defietsenmaker.nl - a helpful chap called Mario in Holland who has a huge stock of retro stuff. I bought replacement bearing kit for my Stronglight A9 roller bearing headset from him some years ago. It looks like he no longer has stock of the full replacement kit with the loose metal bearing rings although he does have plenty of the plastic-caged roller bearings in packs of eight.0
