Cleanest and best dry lube

I have used Finish line dry lube on my best bike for several years. However,i have been given a Muc Off dry lube and a Morgan Blue lube to try.The Muc Off doesn't seem to bad as it goes on quite easily but seems to get dirty pretty swiftly. The Morgan blue is extremely thick and like the M/off seems to attract dirt easily.
anyone recommend a really good clean running chain lube for my carbon beauty.?

I use white lightning clean ride, it stays really clean. I apply it with a syringe so there is no real surplus to attract any dirt. I use this on my hybrid, best bike, and vintage bike.
Bear in mind the roads here are clean and smooth and it has never rained on my bikesmy isetta is a 300cc bike0 -
ThanksTEAM47b.Yes,you are at somewhat of an advantage over me on the weather front.0

White Lightning also do one called Epic ride which is better for dirty rides, but I've not tried this onemy isetta is a 300cc bike0

Pedros Ice Wax. Lasts well, too. The old version is thicker and IMO better, but hard to get hold of these days for eco (or, more likely, economic) reasons.0

Fenwicks Stealth Lube. Works well in dry and wet conditions. Lasts well.0

I'll use nothing else during the good months. Applied with a syringe to each roller. Wipe down chain after a few rides. A quiet, clean chain.0 -
Fenwicks Stealth. I've tried quite a few different chain lubes over the years, and it's the one I like most. Progold is decent, but I didn't rate it's longevity.0

Fenwick's is a faff.0

Squirt for the win!0

velo did a test on lube efficiency. the results reflect up to 5W difference between the best and worst performers. squirt was one of the best they tested, so that's what I just got. it's wax based so it'll stay clean
I've tried white lightening before returning it to walmart. it seems like all the bottles have a different amount of wax material on it. so the results vary, because the bottles with more wax will be more viscous. I wonder if this is a common thing with wax/solvent lubes.0 -
Shimano PTFE Dry Lube, not too thin to be annoying to apply, not too thick to be gunky, does its job well and stays pretty clean compared to some culprits that don't.0

Another one here for ProGold Prolink, I'll use nothing else on the Rourke. Whilst it is a wet lube, it is "self cleaning" i.e. you can actually use it to clean the chain although I don't. But it does make the chain very easy to clean unlike the Fenwicks Stealth (which I have used for a while on my winter bike).
Chain cleaning with ProGold is just a matter of wiping the chain with a rag having first sprayed the rag with a bit of GT85/WD40. I then apply using a dropper bottle one drop per link. Do that for every ride.WyndyMilla Massive Attack | Rourke 953 | Condor Italia 531 Pro | Boardman CX Pro | DT Swiss RR440 Tubeless Wheels

I have even decided that reapplying Squirt regularly in the winter is preferable to using wet lube that goes black and gunky.0

ProLink ProGold will go black, but it doesn't go gunky...that's why I like it.WyndyMilla Massive Attack | Rourke 953 | Condor Italia 531 Pro | Boardman CX Pro | DT Swiss RR440 Tubeless Wheels

I've been using this over the past 6 months, not been too impressed. It does the job, but doesn't last very well; it seems very thin, so maybe this has something to do with it. I've had it wear off to the point of a grinding chain in the space of one long (admittedly wet and mucky) ride.
For comparison, I have used Finish Line (wet and dry) and Prolink ProGold in the past and will be going back to one of those when this bottle runs out.0 -

I've had very good results from purple extreme, lasts a fair time and stays very clean0

I use Squirt too, can't really fault it tbh.0 -
Been using Squirt too now for 3 years. Works for me.0

I use the Rock n Roll purple, Finish Line Dry, Finish Wet Ceramic. The Ceramic gives the smoothest quietest changes - goes black but isn't so gloopy as the standard wet version which is just a magnet to dirt. Rock n roll seems to be the cleanest but splatters all over when applying when spinning the chain. Also doesn't last long. Sticking with the Wet ceramic for now.0

I have tried the White Lightning Clean Ride and it needed hugely regular application even in the dry. However, it does wash off relatively easily.
One I can vehemently dissuade people from buying is Green Oil. Gets good reviews initially, but is impossible to get off the chain, cassette, chainrings and goes black immediately.0 -
I use the Finish Line dry stuff too.
I don't know how it stacks up against anything else though *, because it's the only one I've used. But it does seem good and clean, I bought it mainly because it was PTFE based.
*(other than GT85 which isn't a chain lube of course and is crap at the job )
The older I get, the better I was.0 -
Since a couple of months I perform the following regime:
Take the chain off the bike (missing link) and boil in soapy water in old cooking pan.
Rince chain in hot water to clean soap and dirt out.
Dry 5 min. (fast because it's hot)
Put chain in vegetable can au bain Marie and add Paraffin wax so it will be submerged after melting.
As soon as chain is complete submerged. leave 2 min in wax.
Fish chain out and after 10 min it is ready to put on the bike again.
This system is good for 3-400 km without any added lubing, chain picks up almost nothing.
Chainrings and cassette pick up almost nothing.
As soon as the noise level raises, repeat.
WAx cost a fiver/kg , in 5 months I used half of it on 2 bikes, so f*cking cheap too.0 -
