Hi everyone,

I want to share my Santa Cruz SL. 27.5" wheels on 26" frame and fork. Fork clearance is good at the moment but I may have to switch back to 26" wheels when the rainy and muddy days come. It is running on a 1x10 drivetrain (XT groupset). Any thoughts or suggestions on my current setup to help it become a better XC (and light AM) bike?

Thank you!

Spokes should be black. Cable housing should be the same colour. Saddles should have some saddle. Apart form that....

Whats the logic behind fitting the wrong size wheels?
The higher bottom bracket wont help steering or stability. The bike will generally ride better with the correct size wheels.
I like the old Superlight. Nice xc bike but its certainly no AM bike.
