Hi, I have just had a replacement hanger turn up in the post, it is a #106 for Cube, I have a 2014 cube peloton pro. It was hard to find any info on what hanger my bike needed but some websites all seemed to point to this #106 so I ordered it. comparing the 2 the little screw holes are identically placed and the shape at the top is the same but the whole thing is slightly shorted meaning the bolt hole for the derailleur mounting bolt itself would sit slightly higher, maybe 3mm at most, will this matter or does the new hanger need to be identical to the old, I wasn't sure if adjusting the 'b' screw might account for the difference in length? thanks

As long as you don't want to shift big cogs ( >28T) with a short cage derailleur it doesn't matter.

i don't think it will matter. the B tension will probably enable you to adjust the mech to clear the 28 even if it was a short cage.
