Not the red one.....0
-
No, the disc one. And, yes, I agree with Ugo. If they did the Red in disc............... but, there we are. The black is quite stunning. I've been trying to work out why it's more stunning than, IMO, the Road Logic. Then I realised it's the WCS colour band. On the Road Logic it's only two colours. My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

I am not such a fan of the road logic anyway. Are you going Shimano Di2 hydraulic? I am not 100% sure on those shifters, where the hydraulic reservoir is. Would be interesting to see what the campy disc offering is set to be (whenever it is released)0
-
Nah, Force 22 with TRP Spyre. I want to see what they are like. I have TRP Hy Rd on both my other bikes so, if these turn out inferior, I can swap a set over. We'll see. So it will be Force 22 other than a Red chainset. Pacenti Sl25 disc wheels. My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

It might take a while yet. Need to get bars. Need to get some more hex bolts for the rotors (god the TRP ones are like cheese). Need to try and figure out why I have a tiny tiny bit of play in the fork. Ritchey supply a WCS headset WITH a crown race but also have an integrated race on the forks. So I have not, of course, put two on there. I think the issue might be that the spacers I have are crap and not tight enough. They have a tiny bit of play in them when I waggle them on the fork. So I've ordered some Ritchey ones.My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

A few idiosyncrasies. Front wheel wouldn't go on. Turns out the fork takes 140mm rotors or, it seems, 160 with an adapter. But it was designed for 140's. So I have decided to put a 140 on there to keep it nice and clean and, as designed.
Hoping that my new spacers today will cure the slight fork play. Should be ok after that.
Haven't managed to get a decent set of bars yet. Bidding on some on ebay so a while till I get properly started. My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

Deda Zero 100 are immense. Really nice and stiff and a lovely shape. Not too pricey. No idea if heavy or not compared to others0
-
Yeah, one of my favourites. But, given Ritchey stem and post, messes with my OCD. If I don't get the eBay ones I might just say screw it. If they did a stealth Zero I'd be all over them.....My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

What hubs are those?left the forum March 20230 -
Hope.
Yeah, it will be a mix. Just swap out the tyres depending on season. So, for the next few months, it will do road duties. Come September swap out to some all season road tyres.
Then stick some Vittoria Cross on for CX season. Plan is to do anything vaguely dry and dusty on this, mud on the XLS.....My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

Oooh, this is going to be good. Not normally bothered by such things but I'd de-sticker the wheels.0

Looking really nice, can't wait to see the finished article.
What happened to the Road Logic? I have been thinking about one of those and wondered if you still have it or if there was something about it you didn't like/get on with?0 -
The build is coming along very well! It is set to be a stunner once everything is finished! Will you be using it for any cyclocross or mostly road riding with discs and clearance for larger volume tyres? I ask out of interest since you have road tyres on.0
-
Mostly road riding in the summer months. There are 28c on at the moment. The fastest big tyres I could find.
I plan on swapping out to something still road orientated come September, then using it for the dry CX races later in the year.My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

Sounds good. I would get a set of cross tyres to keep around, as being able to blast through fields to get a switch from the usual monotony of road riding0 -

Don't worry, I got loads. Clement PDX hanging up. Vittoria XG Pro tubeless on my XLS (same wheels as well so can just swap those over rather than changing tyres! My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

Lucky you with different wheels. I'm currently saving for a spare set to use for road riding. Donations accepted hehe.0

I just have quite a few bikes. 3 to be exact. All of which are disc. 2 are 10 speed, annoyingly, or it would be even easier swapping wheels out.My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

Sorted. The wavy crush washer sent to me by Paligap was the cure. Whacked it one. Absolutely fine.
Bars come tomorrow. Pop into town to get some bar tape. Should be ready to go by Friday......My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)
