Focus Izalco Pro Di2 Upgrade

I wanted to see if anyone has experience in upgrading a 2013 Focus Izalco Pro frame to a Di2 Ultegra group set? Currently have the OEM SRAM group set but with this being mechanical and the frame having internal cable routing - I didn't know how possible this would be (I'm not going to route it externally, would rather go mechanical if that's the case).

I've tried local mechanic, Focus and some forum searching but looks like there are no concrete answers yet.

Any help appreciated, especially around the cable routing inside the bottom bracket to place the junction boxes.

Thanks!

Andy

It's really quite simple - just buy the "internal cable" version of the Di2, with the seatpost fitting battery. As long as you have the necessary holes for the cables for the mechs - usually one in the seat-tube close to the front mech, and one either on top of or under the rear of the drive side chainstay - the rest is a doddle. Cables cab be bought separately as can the rubber bungs for blanking holes or sealing around the cables (unless your bike came with them as spares and my frame did). Mine also had a blanking plate that replaced the under-BB cable guides.

The use the "Dealer Manual" and follow the instructions. Google for "DM-UL0001-02"
