Newbie - Please Help - Which Bike?

Hi all,
I need some advice as I am just confusing myself.
I am a keen mountain biker and have been for the past 20 years or more. Now I am older and the fact that my knees are starting to give me jip when running, I want to get into road cycling.
I have read many articles, forums and reviews, but it is proving difficult what the best bike is for me.
I plan to do around a 30-40 mile ride on a weekend, and hope to do a few events, the biggest I have looked at is 120K. I am pretty fit, easily run 10K in just over 50 minutes.
I have narrowed it down to 3 bikes from a huge list, and I would like some of your feedback an which one would suit me best, or if none at all.
1.) Planet X Nanolight SRAM Rival 22 Road Bike
2.) DOLAN L'ÉTAPE CARBON ROAD BIKE - SRAM RIVAL 22
3.) Ribble R872 Campagnolo Athena

Any of them would suit you fine. Just pick the one closest to your budget, or that you like the look of.0
