The focus isn't a 29er and has a better groupset, so would get my vote.
Usually comes down to which bike has the better fork, but I imagine they will be very similar.
What are you going to be using it for though? Trails? Forest roads? Cycle paths? Commuting?0 -
The Focus has the better fork by a reasonable margin.
The Rockhopper is dreadful value for money, can't see a price for the Focus so can't comment, but if it has to be of those two, then the Focus wins hands down.

I am going to use it on a commuting and trails, and the price are not so different the focus it's 20$ cheaper then specialized because it's older model and I get the ROCKHOPPER COMP 29 for 674$ the link that i send its from the official site here at my place they give me discount but if you say focus then focus it is I trust you guys0

OK at that price they are decent value!
Focus would be the choice of the two for me, mainly down to the fork, but nearly everything else is that little bit better (brakes, crankset, shifters and mechs) as well, I would expect it to come in about 1-1.5Kg lighter.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
