Hi everyone.
Just a quick one,

Firstly has anyone used eurosport player so far this year? How has the quality of the coverage been?

Secondly, Does anyone know if i subscribe if I can continue towatch whilst in Italy this summer? Is there a time limit on how much you can use it abroad?

Thanks in advance :)

I use Eurosport Player for the cycling, fantastic value at £3.99 a month compared to megabucks as part of a Sky package. Even on my 2Mb download speed it is reliable (We get fibre optic in June, thank the Lord).

No idea about using it abroad, I'm afraid.

I have it too, only watch cycling and superbikes on it. Quality of coverage is good, Tour of Flanders had me enthralled at the end yesterday.... I use it as an app on a Samsung smart TV, occasionally get buffering but thats usually when I'm buggering about on the laptop at the same time...
  • sounds like its a nobrainer the as i missed the tour of flanders yesteday :(

That just cant happen for Paris-Roubaix!!

Just to add, that away from the BritEurosport, you will see a tad more cycling at times, as the number of ads are far reduced on the International service...read into that what you will.

I used Eurosport Player on a laptop for a week in Mallorca and apart from rubbish WiFi it was fine and gave a choice between Spanish and English commentary.

Hijacking thread.... can you use the Android app or Windows laptop version in the USA? Don't want to miss the end of the Giro next month...

To get past geo restriction, you can use Hola Unblocker addon in Firefox as someone recommended to me on here.. works a treat for Sporza.be feeds
  • Subscribed today :) Watched the rerun of the tour of flanders this morning(amazing) now waiting to watch the basque country stage today.

    Thanks for your help everyone

Had heard of Hola, but never used it before (and had forgotten about it too...). Will give it a try if the app doesn't work automatically. :D
