I think its just me being a muppet, have tried other guys bikes with the same shock and they have the step but it still feels nice to ride. Maybe I should have gone for the Float X, Im obviously not enough of a suspension boffin to set this one up!
The Inline is up for sale now in the classifieds, Ive gone back to a Fox RP2 and it just does the job without any messing so I can just get on with the important stuff - riding0 -
Spitfire has gone all Foxy
2014 34 Factory (with new stickers on)
2014 Float Factory BV
Picked up for a price too good to refuse. Back end feels so much better now and from swapping the fork it seems the Pike was the source of one of my creaks. Have Googled and it seems creaky Pikes are a common occurence. Reckon CRC would take them back under warranty after 15 months and lots of scuffs and cable rub??0
