Any advice for a new buyer?

Hello guys,
I'm looking for my first road bike and it tends that my head is going between AVANT M40S and Trek Domane 4.0 C. I know this investment is going to be with me for a long time. Thus, I wanted to spend my money wisely, in fact, I know they both are great bikes and it comes down to a "personal taste". However, I still want to hear any advices because both shop that I went, they had good things to say about their product. My choice is not only limited to these two models/ brands and my budget is around 2000 USD. I'm willing to listen to other model advice as well. Thank you in advance
