Garmin Corrupted! need to recreate fit file

Hi Everyone
My Garmin 510 is reporting no files. It cant load last ride and all rides show all rides but you cant load any. I can see my last ride there at the top too. Distance and time. Most of the files in on the device which should have data is zero kbits. There isnt a folder with any ride data.
What to do? Is there somewhere to recreate the ride data?

Its probably gone forever, build a bridge, get over it.
There was someone who offered a service a couple of years ago to repair corrupt files, but its really not worth the effort IMHOI'm sorry you don't believe in miracles0 -
Entered the details into Strava - no segments extra as there was no gps but better than nothing. Reformat the 510 and its working correcting now. I understand that this can happen.Ride Safe! Keep Safe!

If the actual .FIT files are no longer present on the file system (ie missing or zero bytes in size) then the only way to re-create them would be to re-ride the routes.0

You can also cheat doing it this way, by riding the routes quicker than originally.0 -
If you rode with someone who also had a Garmin you could could and paste their FIT file into the folder on your Garmin.Eddy Merckx EMX-3
