Hello guys I've just notice the ctd lever on my giant trance has about 15 degrees of loose play in it after it clicks into the climb setting it feels as if something is loose. There's very little movement in the trail setting and about about 5 degrees while in the descend setting. Each position defiantly feels different. Having never owned a bike with a ctd lever like this I don't know if it's normal. The bike is brand new, the tyres haven't even touched mud yet.

It locks into climb mode then there is the play. There is no play between trail and climb

I think he means is the play up/down before it changed setting or from side to side? :)
