Is there a better 500 quid frame set out there (Scott CR1)

Looking to upgrade the wife's bike- is there a better sportive type frame out there for 500 quid than the Scott CR1 at Westbrook? Looking to hit buy over the next day or so.

    Take her for a day out.

    Drive into deepest Yorkshire, go for a romantic walk around Wentworth Castle Gardens then drive around the corner to the Planet X showroom in Worsborough south of Barnsley. She can have a look at their offers.

    Or buy the Scott, which will be a good choice.

    I should have said she is 5'2" so the XS Scott would be a good fit, think the Genesis and PX options are a smidge big.

    Some reasonable discounts on a CAAD 10 frame at westbrooks or the specialised allez at Sigma sport, both premium aluminium frames
