Trek Domane Isospeed Creaking

I've got one of the early Trek Domane 2.0 (delivered 2013). On recent rides, I've noticed it creaking an awful lot, particularly when seated, on the drops powering over some of the smaller lumps in the lake district.
I've been able to reproduce the noise whilst stationary by 'bouncing' on the saddle. The noise seems to be coming from the isospeed decoupler.
Is anyone else having similar issues? and does anyone know what the fix is. I'd assume that I just need to prize off the plastic cover and give a couple of drops of lube.

This isn't based on personal experience of IsoSpeed couplers, but in general, for "rubbery bits creaking", a dab of silicone grease is probably a better bet than e.g. chain lube.0

Isn't there a bearing in the isospeed decoupler? Could be it needs regreasing/replacing due to wear.0

....or a squeaky saddle? I'd get some lube in the rail holes, then grease the seatpost and grease and re-tighten the pedals, then check the headset. True! The saddle had squeaked a fair bit before. But when I 'bounce' the saddle, whilst feeling the seat tube below the top tube, I can 'feel' the squeak. However, on my ride today, all was well after I dribbled a bit of lube into the joint the other day. Obviously worked its way in and done what I wanted.0

Got to the bottom of the creaks eventually. It came back after a single ride. I noticed when getting all set up for a big ride (Lakeland Loop sportive) that the headset was a bit 'gritty'. one new lower bearing and the sqeek is gone completely. :-)0

Well, it just shows that the search fascility works.
My Domane 2.3 had developed a creeking noise. I recently put new pedals on so these were suspect... A quick swap ruled them out.
The creeking would occur even out of the saddle and could be induced if bouncing on the pedals.
After reading this thread it turns out my bottom steering bracket needed attention too.
So thanks to all the above postees (?) that have made such information avsilable.
