Cheshire Cobbled Classic 2015

Just signed up for this, looks ace!

I'll be hotfooting it down in the car from Scotland to take this on. Anyone done this event before? Any local advice on offer? We're a bit light on cobbles in Central Scotland y'see...

I fancied this last year. When is it running?

It's 07/06 this year, think it sounds ace!
  • I did this last year, the hardest 100km I have ever done on a bike...don't kid yourself into thinking Cheshire is flat. Great fun though, shall be doing it again this year.

    Good course, but £25 !
Glad I live at the bottom of one of the cobbled hills on the course and can ride it for free

£25 wasn't too bad I thought. You certainly got value in climbing and cobbles - and there's no way I'd have found that route without the markers. Much much harder than I thought 60 miles could be. If it was raining though - I think I'd have done a different ride.

Given the prices for many sportives £25 isn't too bad. I live too close to ever pay though. Good route, god help you on a wet day.
