Hills and Cobbles in London

Couple of questions

- Done Swain's Lane and the adjacent climbs hundreds of times, do any Londoners have other places they go to get some ascents in? Crystal Palace is the only other place I can think of that has any kind of decent gradients. Any tips would be handy, just looking to mix it up a bit, although Swains is easy to get to from work.

- Any long sections of cobbles to ride on in London? Having a Roubaix day ride before the Eurosport action, would be appropriate to include some cobbles. Only know of 20 yards next to The Ship in Wandsworth and about 2 feet on the bend at Richmond Gate in Richmond Park...

Sure there's some cobbles around the Wapping area as I remember going on them for a nightrider sportive - 23mm road tyres didn't like it :) No idea how many streets have them or how long they are so you might end up going up and down the same 100 yard street 200 times to get a good feel :)

The London Classic route has some nice little hills and cobbled sections thrown in. It's next week - get involved. And they show P-Ron the TV afterwards.

Just found that on strava. Looks like a great route. Don't Think I could trust the garmin 500 to get round it but may give it a go anyway
