I have a set of CrossMax SLRs and want to add a lightweight 10speed cassette. Current cassette is a SRAM PG1030 11-36, but looking at at PG1050 same ratio.
Do I have to stick with SRAM for the Cassette or can I use Shimano for this instead to open up my options?

Lightest without going to daft alu ones like Recon is XX - SRAM XG1099 IIRC. XTR are more sensibly priced, but wear quicker, and weigh a chunk more. Both obviously a fair bit more expensive than a PG1050!

    Holy smokes, £200 for a cassette :).
Trying to find a happy medium between price and weight and was hoping around the £50-£60 region. I'm trying to vision 300grams now (weight of the PG1050)
