Quick question
The forest drive is open 7.30am to 8.30pm.
Do they close the gate at the Thorton le dale end?
If I'm biking past this time can I get out the other end?

The gate at Thornton Le Dale has 24 hour access so you'll be fine. There are houses in the forest so they need access but so do emergency services. The gate at the other end of the forest is locked on an evening.
You'll be fine to get in/out for late night riding. There's a group of us that have night rides every week and it's fine.0 -
