Kore Durox rear hub 135x12mm with MTB Axel to 10mm Kona Kahuna 2012 29er frame.

    MTB Tools. Ordered it from eBay.

    Weighed in at 56 grams on my scale. Looks and feels superb in build quality and fit perfectly snug in the Kore Dorax hub. No slop what so ever.

    I still have to build the wheels and I am newbie at this so it may be a few weeks till I get spokes for the hub.

    The front hub is Hive Chubby. Rims are WTB KOM 29" I25.

    All I need to figure out what spokes to order. I have all other parts to complete build.

    Thanks for that - unfortunately, like all the other adapter-axles I've seen, it would cost me more than the wheel I need it for did :roll:

    Sorry bro. For me it offered the most durable wheel hub fitting for my frame dropout spacing and it was in my budget.

    Front Hub Hive Chub XC 15mm thru Axel, C-F Left 20.9mm • 59mm, C-F Right 28.6mm • 59mm • OLD: 100mm
    NUKEPROOF Warhead 44-56IITS Ceramic headset 1.1/8"-1.5"
    Uberbike 10mm titanium headset spacer
    Hope Head Doctor headset adjuster
    Renthal Fatbar Lite handle bars 38mm rise
    Renthal Duo Stem 10 degree rise, 40mm long
    Kona Kahuna grips
    SRAM XO Twist Shift 9 speed shifter
    Formula RO front and rear hydraulic brake levers.

    Total weight of parts on front drive line 2930 grams.

    Weight will come down after I fit the steerer and trim it down. Might trim down the handle bars a little as well.


    Just noticed my front hub is on backwards... :mrgreen:
