HONC 2015 - 31st Hell Of The North Cotswolds

Hi All,

Wondering whether any others on here are taking part in this years HONC Reliability Trial. Starts at Winchcombe and you can either do a 50KM (Which I will be doing) or a 100KM stint. Starts on April 12th, all places have been taken... So it gunna be busy.

I will be competing with my GT Avalanche, have been training for a few weeks now round the Cotswold hills... Really looking forward to it :D

    Myself and two mates done the 100k today.
    I was on a full sus transition scout and the other two were on their hardtails.

    It was hard work in that wind!
    My winter bike is exactly the same as my summer bike,,, but dirty...

    I did the 50k, woke up in the morning with a stomach bug, but thought I would crack on anyway. Glad I did, also glad I picked the shorter route! I wouldn't of made it around the 100k. Really enjoyed it and happy with my time. The wind was horrific! Making some of the downs feel like ups. Next year I will fit narrow tyres to a 29er I think!
