Sugestions for a Good Value Wheelset Upgrade?

I am wanting to replace my stock mavic xm119 rims on deore hubs as they are quite flexy and often go out of true. I have a budget of just under £300 and need a stiff, reasnobly light 26" wheelset for my all mountain hardtail.
Any suggestions?

Hope Tech Enduro wheels are good value, I have just ordered a pair from Ubyke for £310.
I also like Shimano XT wheels, great hubs and good rims.
Avoid anything with straight pull spokes.

I had bad experiences with Superstar hubs. Both the older Switch Evo hubs and the newer Tesla hubs.
As far as I know the Switch Ultra hubs have sorted the bearing sealing issues but not the freehub problems. I had four freehubs crack, the only cure was a steel freehub body which weighs as much as a cow.

Stans Arch ex on Hope Pro 2 Evos? Only a few quid over your budget, had mine for 3 years now and (apart from one service / bearing change 3 months ago) they've been bomb proof... ridden through all winters in sh!tty muddy conditions in the Chilterns / Surrey Hills and they've survived 3 x week trips to the Alps, although last years horrendous conditions in Morzine probably led to needing new bearings.... not bad when you consider they were regularly in mud up to the axle..

Hope hubs are quality kit. Nothing fancy, just reliable, servicable and durable.
Superstar hubs are just disposible in comparison.
I quite like Shimano XT hubs as well, look after them and they last forever.

Just to balance things up I have superstars switch wheels and hope pro11 aswell, superstar currently out living hopes!!!
