Looking to buy an out front mount for my mahoosive Edge 810. Any recommendations, I know Garmin do there own, which is pricey. Also K edge which again pricey, and then we have the ebay specials cheap and middle of the road superstar components which I`m favouring at the moment ? Any of these going to snap on me

Amazon, got one up for the new bike and it does the job just as well as any other.

Got the superstar one - which I use with a Bryton. Works fine and well made.

  • To answer OP I have a SRAM mount and find it great.

However, I have just gotten a GoPro and want some recommendations for a Garmin Edge and a Go Pro combined mount?
Or, at the risk of hijacking this thread (which I don't want to do), if there is a simple single mount for the GoPro, that might work as well....

What's the best solution for either of these?

    Superstars do one. http://www.superstarcomponents.com/en/garmin-gopro-handlebar-mount.htm

I've got one. It works well.

Stem captain mount looks like good cockpit space utilization, only on US site though. The UK one has just gimmicks like watch, compass etc

I use this one too and it is great.... +1
  • Superstar ones are great. Ok, so not quite as refined as a K-Edge, but at less than half the price, I bought two...

Any decent (cheaper) options for XL mount apart from Garmin and K-Edge? I got a cheap ebay one for one for the bikes but the garmin just rattles around on it
  • The aforementioned Superstar ones!

They're adjustable to suit smaller 500s or larger 800s...
