Does anyone know where you would buy just a bare frame? Looking for one of the older CAAD frames ~ 2012 ish for a project

Other that being lucky with Ebay. Why isn't it easier to buy new frames from past years

    Pretty much it - in addition you could try Westbrook cycles.
    The Caad frames do come up on ebay and the classifieds here - so patience might be the key.
