A possible solution is now at hand -
Malaysian GP: Nico Rosberg wears sanitary towel inside helmet

Nico Rosberg has come up with a novel solution to the heat of a Formula 1 cockpit - he's taken to wearing a sanitary towel on his forehead.
The German Mercedes driver made the admission ahead of the hottest race of the season in Malaysia this weekend, when temperatures are set to soar well beyond 30 degrees Celsius.
Rosberg wants to avoid sweat trickling into his eyes in the humid conditions.
"I put [a sanitary towel] on my head in to take up the sweat," he said.
Cockpit temperatures can reach around 50 degrees Celsius during the Malaysian race in Sepang, where drivers on average can lose up to 4kg in fluid.

Ha. This is a problem I've had. Not sure that I'll take up Nico's suggested solution though.

I used to find wind noise an issue too. A tampon in each ear sorted that out.

Surely if you'd used a tampon you'd have to be rollerblading, not cycling?

I can't see this catching on as you'd look like a right fanny.

When your team is doing everything possible to hand the title to your arrogant brat team mate, it's not surprising really.

Also I'm highly evolved and have eyebrows, so don't have this problem.

I had the misfortune of having quite a lot of dealings with him a few years ago. I can attest to the fact that not only did I, but all of my team, find him to be an utter twatt.

You only need to look at several "stars" of the cycling circle to know that!
I think it's sad that people assume talent allows them to act like total bell ends and get all precious on people.
I for one believe in the adage "be nice on the way up…the people you meet on the climb, will be the people you need on the slide back down" I think thats a decent metaphor for life in general, but so many "stars" appear to ignore it, PERFECT example of a total bell…Kanye West!!! Enough said!!
Oh and I TOTALLY agree with previous poster…Hamilton…a VERY acquired taste!!
