Canyon 29er Choice

Need help in choosing between the Canyon NerveAL 29 and Canyon Spectral AL29.

Have finally got it down to these two,riding will mostly be around the home counties with general trail use and long days out exploring. A bike holiday or two year is the norm (Alps/Wales etc).

I want to be covered travel wise for everything i want to chuck at the bike but do not want to compromised on those long,flatter terrain rides out.

Thoughts are welcome.

Yes i see where you are coming from but two bikes is not an option i'm afraid so need something that will do it all. I'm a fan of the bigger wheels,nothing more or less than that behind the choice!

Why just Canyon? Rose have some great 29ers with similarly great spec for the price and a UK agent for backup.

Of the two it would have to be the Spectral AL 7.9, it's a more go anywhere bike, slacker head more travel.

Also as rockmonkey says there are other makes.

Yes i did look at a few other brand Rose,Radon,Scott's Genius 29er,even the Orange segment. But when looking at 29ers with 110-130 travel i always ended but coming back to the Canyons,just something about them!
