So my tyre has gone a little kinky on me!!

It's the second one in around 6 -12 months, can't exactly remember when the last one went the same way

Is it just tyre degradation such as the side-wall collapsing, maybe after striking a hole?

The casing has fractured. I've had it happen to me before, I'd bin it if I were you.

Have you got a brake block which might be rubbing or wearing the casing?

Also, check that your rim tape isn't riding up the inside of the rim and preventing the tyre bead from seating correctly in the rim. (This could lead to the tyre bulging out.)

I had one of them red bikes but I don't any more. Sad face.

Was suspecting sidewall (using car terminology) so guess that's the same then.

Brakes are all ok, not sure on the rim tape but tyre has been on a long time so suspect thats poss not it.

So replace with the same or go for something new (to me)?
